Helpful Professional Resources

Adoption is a tricky and sensitive subject for everyone, including the children we work with. The Guide for Youth Going Through Adoption was created to help bridge the gap between professionals and the children they serve, to give children the chance to be involved and address any emotions, questions, or concerns they might have about adoption.

Training in Adoption Competency

C.A.S.E Training for Adoption Competency (TAC)™ is the nation’s premiere assessment-based certificate program for training mental health practitioners and developing adoption competency skills. Through classroom and remote instruction, as well as clinical case consultation, TAC students master key clinical skills that support adopted children and their foster, adoptive and kinship families. We offer TAC training to mental health professionals across the state of Kansas. If you are interested in joining one of our cohorts, contact us today!
